REGULAR: (generally horses 14-15.3 hands) Quarter horse, Thoroughbred, Paint, Paso Fino, Mustang, Lusitano, Saddlebred, MOST ARABS. This is Steve’s number one training tool. He uses this halter and a 12’ lead in all of his groundwork exercises. It is very important to always have the right tool to get the job done. A standard halter and short lead is just not sufficient to get your ground exercises completed properly, and many rope halters are just not made to the same standards. These halters will make an astonishing difference in your horse’s performance. This halter is made of a high quality, soft yacht braid rope that offers the ultimate in softness and strength. It is comfortable on your horse when they are being good, but can be firm when necessary. If your horse chooses to lean against it, or be disrespectful and push, the knots will make it uncomfortable for your horse to do so. When he yields, the uncomfortable pressure ceases, effectively making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult.
