HORSE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AT HORSE CREEK RANCH - (You must be approved before making this deposit: Email Francesca@horseteacher.com.) Located in Eastern Washington State (1.5 hours NW of Spokane WA) • Dates: June 18th – July 15th and/or Sept 3rd – Sept 30th • Fee: $700 – includes board and training. Also included is one lesson with your horse (on pick-up day). You will drop your horse off for the month and pick up on the last day. • Feed: $6/day • Deposit: $350 must be paid to hold your spot. Balance will be due 30 days prior. This will be an exciting opportunity for a select number of horses to participate in our exciting new program. During these months Steve will be working side by side with a small number of apprentices working on several areas of horsemanship, from beginning to advanced principles. These horses will participate in this program - every step of the way. Rather than seeing just a quick 30 minutes to one hour a day, as with most training barns, these horses will actually be partnered up with Steve and his students. They will become a part of the daily activities on the ranch. These horses will receive more than just training; they will have a purpose, which is a priceless key to their development. Some activities will include: Groundwork; Desensitizing; Confidence Building; Liberty; Horsemanship with Snaffle Bit; Freestyle Riding; Cattle Work; Basic Roping; Mountain Trail Riding; Trail Course; Pond and Creek Crossing. If you are looking for your horse to go the extra mile in their development, this is your chance. At the end of the month, you will receive one afternoon lesson with your horse to review the things that they have learned. Please Note: You will not stay with your horse during this period.
