| 5 Day In-depth Course for those who want a more fulfilling experience with their horse. This week will focus on a wide variety of things. We will have activities that revolve around team work, confidence building, trail course, and cattle work. This week we will also offer an opportunity for you to bring your colt or very green horse and get them started (or re-started) under saddle.
This week is designed to help you step it up a few notches and see how things can be developed at a little faster pace with more responsibility for both you and your horse. We will also be introducing you and your horse to basics of Liberty work. COST:
All camp fees include horsemanship (5 days, 6 hours of instruction a day), meals, and horse board. Accommodation $65 per night or RV hook up $15 per day. Typically each day will include one hour of classroom instruction and five hours with the horses either in the arenas or out on the trail courses and pastures. Numbers at the ranch will be kept to a minimum, so there will be ample time for all who come. Our goal is to get you to Excel With Your Horse, so come ready for a good time! There are outdoor, uncovered pens as well as 20 by 20 covered stalls available. You are required to bring your own hay, and grain. You are responsible for keeping your pen clean. You are welcome to tent or bring a camper or trailer. There are R.V. hook ups with water and electricity available. A fully equipped bunkhouse with showers and bathrooms can be used by all participants. $65 per night per person for fully equipped house. There is no phone or internet on the ranch.
